 Reginelle are crumbly biscuits which in Palermo are also called "queen biscuits" or, in dialect, "viscotta 'nciminati" (biscuits with "cimino", that is with sesame seeds). They are classic Sicilian biscuits, with a characteristic aroma " smoked ”sweetened, occasionally, by the sesame seeds with which the surface is sprinkled.
